Head Start at North Beach Place

Kai Ming is a comprehensive preschool co-located at North Beach Place, a mixed-income, mixed-use development in San Francisco.

This dual-language, licensed Head Start preschool serves qualified North Beach Place residents as well as neighbors from the surrounding community. Jerry Yang, Executive Director of Kai Ming, works to empower families to be self-sufficient. “We want to build a multicultually competent program for our children and our families,” he says.
