Property Description

Paseo at COMM22 is part of a larger mixed-use, mixed-income, transit-oriented master-planned development located in the Logan Heights neighborhood in San Diego. Paseo offers 130 units of affordable housing and consists of one, two, and three bedroom apartments.

Of Paseo’s 130 apartment homes, seven are built out for handicapped accessibility and three are designed for the hearing/visual impaired with all other units adaptable. The development also includes 13 one- bedroom units of supportive housing, filled on a referral basis, that are designated for underserved transition age youth with mental illness eligible for supportive services under the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) program.

Paseo at COMM22 offers easy access to downtown San Diego with its location adjacent to the San Diego trolley and bus routes along the Imperial Avenue corridor. Resident amenities include onsite laundry, a community room, a conference room, an arts and crafts room, and an outdoor courtyard. The property also includes 13,000 square feet of ground floor retail/commercial space.

COMM22 also incorporates significant pieces of public art, including a 30-foot mural, a central16-foot stone and metal sculpture, as well as other public elements. All great additions to a neighborhood with a history of embracing art.

The overall COMM22 development also received significant upgrades to area infrastructure, such as streetscape improvements, storm drains, water and sewer lines, and undergrounding of phone and power lines.
