BRIDGE and Pacific Union Development Company (PUDC) formed a 50-50 partnership, which the City selected to lease and develop the former Polytechnic High School site into 114 low and moderate income homes for first time homebuyers. BRIDGE’s proceeds from the development of the project were used to increase affordability levels. Units sold for $99,000 to $147,000 and were affordable to families earning from $19,000 to $52,000 annually. The development received a “Gold Nugget Merit Award” from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference. In additon to a tot lot, all units featured private garages and 72 of the homes contain 3 or 4 bedrooms.
