Twenty of the apartments are subsidized with project-based Section 8. This beautifully designed community offers decks, an elegant community room, classroom space, laundry facilities, on-site covered parking, and landscaped garden area and courtyard. Just adjacent to Ironhorse, 14th Street has been fully reconstructed to include a traffic-calming pocket park and pedestrian amenities. Ironhorse incorporates many “green” or sustainable materials and techniques, such as photoelectric energy generation and a vegetated green roof. Build it GREEN recognized Ironhorse with a GreenPoint Showcase Award for Achievement in Multi-Family Housing.
